Something healthy made with chocolate and peanut butter? Sounds like a dream come true. Peanut butter is loaded with protein, healthy fats and minerals, while cocoa powder is a great source of antioxidants. This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or any time of day.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3/4 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 banana (best if peeled frozen and sliced)
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 - 4 ice cubes

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth. Makes one smoothie.
